If Australia has a signature wine, this is it. Barossa Shiraz is grown on some of the oldest vine material on earth, in a valley where hot days and cool nights build depth of flavour without stripping away freshness. The style is unmistakable — dark, rich and generous, with a warmth that lingers long after the glass is empty.
Elderton has farmed here for decades under the Ashmead family, working vineyards around Nuriootpa in the heart of the valley. This is their Barossa range, a clear step up from the entry-level E-Series: more concentrated fruit, more oak influence, and considerably more length. The 2022 vintage delivers exactly what you want from a serious Barossa Shiraz.

Did You Know?
📖 The Barossa Valley holds some of the oldest continuously producing Shiraz vines anywhere in the world, a few planted in the 1840s and still bearing fruit today. They survived because phylloxera — the vine louse that wiped out most of Europe’s vineyards in the 1800s — never reached South Australia. Vines that would be museum pieces in France are still working here.
🌟 Final Note: This is Barossa Shiraz done properly, by a family that has been doing it for generations. Our fastest-moving premium red, and it rarely stays on the shelf long.
