Inspired by an unbroken 190-year lineage of whisky blending, today’s Master Blender, Jim Beveridge, has personally crafted Johnnie Walker Gold Label Reserve as a celebration of Johnnie Walker’s rich history. He has handpicked his favorite whiskies to include in this blend, including Clynelish, whose water source flows from the Kildonan Hills, where gold was discovered in 1868.

Johnnie Walker Gold Reserve has a ‘golden touch’: Whiskies are handpicked and perfectly balanced to create a blend that, like gold, has the power to transform great occasions. For these moments and more, it’s as great in a tall glass with crushed ice and an orange slice as it is neat.

Tasting Note

Nose: Honey and heather with thick caramel notes and a subtle nutmeg spice. Dried meadow flowers and a hint of fresh banana.

Palate: Smooth and succulent with a honeyed sweetness that’s typical of Johnnie Walker. There’s more to this though, the floral elements are quite prominent and there’s a spiced sweet vanilla note too.

Finish: Long, sweet and toffee-like.

Overall: A typically easy drinking blend from Johnnie Walker, this will not disappoint fans of the style.
