Glenfiddich Fire & Cane is the fourth whisky in Glenfiddich’s Experimental Series, where the Speyside distillery breaks its own rules. It marries a rare peated Glenfiddich with unpeated single malt aged in bourbon barrels, then finishes the whole lot in Latin rum casks for around three months.
The “Fire” is a gentle campfire smoke, nothing like the medicinal punch of Islay. The “Cane” is the rum casks’ toffee and caramel sweetness. Glenfiddich even printed two sets of tasting notes, because some people notice the smoke first and others the sweetness. It’s an easy, affordable way into peated whisky.

🌟 Final Note: Smoke and sweetness in one glass, Glenfiddich at its most playful.
