Jura Islanders’ Expression No. 3 is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Isle of Jura, a remote island off Scotland’s west coast with around 200 residents, one road, one pub and one distillery. The spirit is first matured in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels, then finished in hand-selected French Cabernet Sauvignon red wine casks, which lend it a juicy, fruit-forward character and a warm gold colour with hints of mahogany.
The Islanders’ Expressions collection is a series of limited-edition whiskies, each inspired by a creative member of Jura’s island community. No. 3 is a collaboration with Konrad Borkowski, the island’s resident photographer, and its red-fruit richness is meant to echo the vivid sunsets he captures over Jura’s landscapes.

Did You Know?
📖 Jura’s Islanders’ Expressions were first released as a travel-retail exclusive, sold mainly in airport duty-free shops. Each edition pairs the whisky with an islander’s craft: No. 1 honoured a jewellery maker with a Barbados rum cask, No. 2 a musician with a pale ale finish, and No. 3 a photographer with Cabernet Sauvignon casks.
🌟 Final Note: Fruity, warm and a little unexpected, an island single malt with a red wine glow.
