Hendrick’s Orbium starts with classic Hendrick’s Gin — with its famous cucumber and rose — and adds extracts of quinine, wormwood and blue lotus blossom. Hendrick’s calls it a “quininated gin”: the quinine brings the bitterness you would normally get from tonic, the wormwood adds a herbal edge, and the lotus softens everything with floral sweetness.
Created by Master Distiller Lesley Gracie in her Gin Palace laboratory in Girvan, Scotland, and first released in 2017, Orbium is complex, slightly bitter and surprisingly versatile. Simply add soda water for a gin and tonic-style drink, or use it to give a Martini real depth.

Did You Know?
📖 Quinine comes from the bark of the cinchona tree and was first mixed with gin by British officers in India, who took it to fight malaria — the origin of the gin and tonic. Orbium puts the quinine inside the gin itself.
🌟 Final Note: Curious, complex and unmistakably Hendrick’s — a gin that brings its own tonic to the party.
