Reserva de Familia is Sottano’s step up from the standard Reserva, and the difference is immediately obvious. Fruit is selected more strictly, and the wine spends considerably longer in oak — time that softens the tannins and knits the components together into something noticeably more complete.
What you get is a Malbec with more of everything: deeper colour, denser fruit, greater aromatic complexity, and a finish that carries on well after the sip. This is a wine for occasions rather than weeknights, and it will continue to develop in the bottle for several years yet.

Did You Know?
📖 Malbec was once one of the six permitted grapes of Bordeaux, but a devastating frost in 1956 wiped out much of the French planting and growers replaced it with hardier varieties. It survived and flourished in Argentina — which is why the grape is now far more associated with Mendoza than with France.
🌟 Final Note: A premium Malbec with genuine depth and length. Open it for something worth celebrating.
